Elijah's Chair (Kisei Eliyahu)
Elijah's chair (Kisei Eliyahu) is the chair of honor for the sandek at a bris milah, reminding us that Elijah the Prophet is present at every bris. We make Elijah's chairs in a variety of unique designs, with a prominent place for a dedication in memory of the departed. It is customary to donate an Elijah's chair to the synagogue in honor of someone (l'zechut) or in loving memory (l'ilui nishmat), especially for those who loved children or longed for them.
