Donor boards for synagogues and institutions – custom designed

Donor boards for synagogues and institutions with personalized design

A donor plaque is the community's way of saying thank you. It displays the names of the donors, founders, and partners who built the synagogue, beit midrash, or institution, and encourages additional donations. Matanya designs and manufactures donor plaques and donor signs according to size, style, and number of names.

Types of donor boards

Classic Donor Board – A plaque with the names of the donors and space for adding plaques later.

Donor Tree / Donor Wall – A design of a tree of life, branches and leaves or birds, each bearing the name of a donor. Suitable for an ongoing donation campaign.

Founders and Partners Board – To the main donors who founded the place.

Illuminated donor board – Plexiglass with LED lighting, for a modern and luxurious look.

Donors to Institutions Table – For non-profit organizations, medical centers, yeshivas and educational institutions.

How does it work?

We receive a sketch and visualization of the board on your wall, approve it, and we produce and install it. You can plan in advance for a place for names to be added later, so that the board grows with the community.

Donor Boards FAQ

What is the difference between a donor list and a memorial list?

A donor plaque honors those who have donated to the building and activities. A memorial plaque commemorates the deceased. Many combine both on the same wall. See also Memorial signs and plaques.

Can I add names after installation?

Yes. The board is designed with additional panels or leaves that are added as needed.

What sizes and materials are available?

Each panel is made to measure: wood, plexiglass, and combinations thereof, with or without lighting.
